First off Thanks for waiting patently because it's late. Second off thanks to those that participated in the Q&A's. As goofy as it can get sometimes it also helps us out a lot. We've come up with some great ideas with the help of the players though these Q&A and they have helped solve a few problems. So without farther delay: Dungeons and Death!
Dungeons!
We didn't spend much time talking about this subject mostly because it had been spread out in the last two to some extent. The systems for dungeons will be tiered into sections. Solo, small group, and raiding size. Each of those has to potential of being single quest (Meaning a quest where you get something for someone or do something for them but has little value story wise.), single story quests (Meaning they are small story quests that you can follow to get more information about the areas, but has little to no affect on Larger story of the world. More like a history lesson.), And Large over all story lines (These are the huge DM events that can change the way the world works.)
How long should the event dungeons and other dungeons be open?
This is a great questions, but since we do not know how large or diverse in time zones the players are we don't really have a good answer for it at this time. It's a play by ear. However Large Raids will be walked though for the first time as a DM event. Main named bosses will be replaced with Generic NPCs after the first (Or perhaps Second if there is enough players and time for the events) run though so that the dungeon can stay open for a little while longer to loot areas. Other then that there wont be any changes to them.
What happens if I die in a Dungeon?Death penalties for dungeons will depend on the region the dungeon is in. If the dungeon entrance is in a low risk area, low risk death penalties will be applied to those who die inside the dungeon. This does mean that if a dungeon is in a high risk area that death tokens can be accrued for dying within a high risk dungeon - but the rewards for such a dungeon (and it's higher risk) would be much higher than the rewards you would find in a low risk dungeon.
Loot!Loot will come in varying tiers depending on where the loot is found, and how risky the area it drops in is:
Low Risk, Medium Risk, and High Risk
Low Difficulty - to - High difficulty.
Thus a Low Risk area with a Low Difficulty dungeon would drop the lowest tier of loot, while a high risk high difficulty dungeon would (have a chance of) dropping some of the better loot in the game.
Don't take this as a reason to skip over those lower dungeons however. Good things can still drop from them, and you'll need to build up a solid set of gear from them to even challenge the hardest dungeons without dying. (Sometimes, even needing to complete lower dungeons in quests to even get access to higher tier ones!)
Player Questions: MintTea -
the important question is will we need blood of virgins in any of these dungeons?
To enter some dungeons you will need to find some items, this allows for quests to be important and something to pay attention to rather then just buzz though as they might hold keys to what is needed to enter a dungeon or what is needed to enter one.
Pumuki -
Sometimes we are up for some traditional grinding, that's something we can get as well?, like when you just wander around and find something to smash stuff
Once a dungeon is opened it will be able to be used as a grinding place for something to do. There will still be quest and what not to use in these areas and some items may have to be hunted for if you are unlucky and they don't drop.
MintTea -
I'd like if we had a halfling dungeon.
MintTea -
there should be a spirit world we can play in if dead
MintTea -
there should also be a dungeon there
You can always request things like this at any time as it will help the team develop places that the players are interested in going and seeing. It also allows for ideas to be generated for said dungeons. I can honestly say I am working on this as we speak. It is something that isn't over done and would make a lot of sense story wise for the area everyone will start out in. It was entirely MintTea's idea that was taken as a comment and made into a reality.
Death!
We're working on a system to make it so death has a penalty. We want death to be scary and have consequences, but we don't want it to be overwhelming or easily abused. We've plans on using a system with tokens that you can accrue after death. Some areas will give you more tokens if you die in them as stated above in Death in Dungeons, and some areas will give you none, such as the PvP areas. We've plans on coming up with a way to get rid of the tokens over time and a penalty if there are a certain number of tokens accumulated (Perma death being one of them.)
Perma Death! There is always a chance that you may have a character end up permanently dead, but we want to make it clear that such things will come with a warning (Which will be screenshot and filed in case of complaints.). A very good example of this is if you chose to play an evil, or overly good, character that is caught doing such things out in the open around people that would disapprove of it. Killing people in the streets is likely to get your character thrown off the island, which would lead to a permanent death. Some events hold such a possibility, but a DM will warn you if that is likely. Permadeath will never be a surprise.
Player Questions: Locust -
Has there been thoughs on equipment loss or damage? Some people hate/like that as much as permadeath I suppose.
This is something we are currently discussing, so there is no answer for it. Sorry. Bringing up questions like this gives us something to consider when we hadn't before.
Zytum -
What if the permadeath had a cost for the killer the same way it has a cost for the death guy? Hi btw :3 Those "tokens" for example.
This is certainty something we can consider, it would allow for easy tracking of who is killing players however we don't have plans for this at this time.
MintTea -
so how do we remove the tokens?
We're still working on a idea for this, some kind of praying, or something will get them removed.
Closing Statement
That should conclude this conversation of Death and Dungeons if you have any questions or concerns on the topic feel free to ask below. Remember nothing is set in stone until the server comes out and even then it's flexible within reason.
Other QuestionsMintTea -
possible to steal artifacts from someone?
Also something we are working on to look into. Though stealing in general can cause a headache from time to time, it is steal something we want to look into as it provides for RP.

Now that items are mentioned, do we have a common storage chest for all the chars in our account or that's something we won't have for IoP?
At this time we do not have an answer for this. I'd like to say probably not. There are storage chests in some areas, but there is a warning with them. If you put something in them and lock them there is a chance that someone can come by and pick said lock and take said stuff. We've absolutely no unpickable locks at this time. None, the doors to the inn can be picked, the doors to the houses can be picked, lock on chests can be picked. So use that knowledge accordingly.
Locust -
Will gold be rare/useful, so pickpocket would be worth doing? Or will everyone have milions of gold?
It would take someone a very long time to accumulate that amount of gold. If someone reaches this amount either they have spent Days grinding or have been there for a long long long time. Odds of someone getting a million gold are very slim. As for pick-pocketing. We still haven't decided what we're doing with that.

Is bashing going to work
I.E. temporarily opening locks via Str roll
Will there be guilds for passive income?
Bashing will work on some things, yes, (Cusses about having to go back and look at all the doors again.) opening locks via str roll it is something Corruption and I will have to discuss. There may be some scrolls to open locks at some point.
As for the guilds, odds are no. We want income to be driven by players and their interaction with others.

How does traps work?
Well you see you meet a cute girl, then you decided to take her home, everything is going great that is until you get her skirt of then you find out that oh my god she's got a huge.....
We're joking by the way. They will work like basic traps if you have the trap skills you'll see them and be able to disable them (Unlike the girl above.) Some traps may not be disabled but a path around them will be easy enough to get by. At this time there is no ability to set them however.
Pumuki -
What about people releveling their chars to counter your build, have anything to rule that?
Releveling will be handled though a DM. Characters should change over night from a monk to a wizard. It takes time. With that said if a change occurs and makes it hard for a class to function the way the character acts there will be a way to relevel.
Pumuki -
This happened once in my server, a DM made quest through Skype
There will be quest made through discord, skype or whatever?
Like
Dm grabbing some npcs and doing something in the roads, that kind of..
quests
DM events will be held in game, but some things can be done on the forums such as requests for conversations with NPC's and so on. RP should be handled much the same way so others can interact with each other. The forums are a VERY important part of the community as it will have dates for events and story behind some events. It is also important for changing things on the server. Screenshots/logs of activities that are going on in the world are needed in order for the DM/Builders to change the world to fit what the players are doing.

Can players craft powerful weapons via craft weapons and sell them?
This is something we have planned for later, as we've kinda run out of time to figure out the system for it at this time. We'd like to get IoP out in the next couple of months. However there are market stalls for players to use to sell items to other players. We actually encourage this kind of behavior.

Can Andy (Corruption) record that voice there for an NPC
NO, Please don't encourage him any. He's ego is big enough.
